Installing a 200″ dvLED or LED video wall in just two hours? A new type of universal display makes this possible.
The all-in-one category of LED and dvLED displays has been around for a few years now. I saw the first one at the Optoma booth at Digital Signage Expo 2019. But then we were still going to trade shows. Since then, several more display manufacturers have launched all-in-ones, some of which also took part in InfoComm 2022.
These all-in-ones have a few things in common, but the biggest benefit is that you can set up a 200-inch monitor in two (or four) hours. The idea is great because one of the most significant barriers to entry (besides the hefty price tag) is that it takes more than two days for a display technician to unpack, install, install and calibrate dozens of tiles. Then connect it to an image processor, to some kind of computer, and plug it into a power source. Not available for all-in-ones.
Another common idea is that you can’t install 150″ glass panels in most elevators.
Everything you need for a monoblock is housed in a “flight case” which includes LED or dvLED panels pre-aligned and usually mounted on two pre-assembled panels with an integrated control box, SoC and wall mount. . Some of them have built-in speakers, and most offer wheeled carts, whichever you prefer. Integrators can usually get your content up and running in less than half a day.
Now you have to choose between size, LED and dvLED, pixel pitch, nits, 2K or 4K and many other built-in programs and features. Ten are highlighted below.

The Absenicon is a one-stop design that integrates the control system, operating system, and sound system into one device, eliminating the need for additional traditional control boxes and video processors. Hidden cable design also makes the whole screen thin and beautiful.
Absenicon 3.0 is equipped with a new intelligent control system that is as easy to operate as a TV. Users can easily turn on/off the screen, change digital channels, adjust screen brightness and OSD options with the remote control. End users can share their computer or mobile screen with one click. LG Business Solutions’ new 136″ DVLED Universal Monitor (opens in a new tab) (Model LAEC) combines a 1080p screen, an embedded webOS controller, and built-in speakers for instant performance in virtually any environment. With this new model, technology integrators can say goodbye to complicated installation and wiring procedures. The display can be installed in one day and includes all the components needed to meet a variety of installation needs and locations.
“The new 136-inch DVLED all-in-one display makes LED a reality for virtually any organization, while plug and play simplicity enables limitless use cases from boardrooms and classrooms to transportation centers, command centers and shopping malls,” said Dan. Smith, Vice President of DVLED Displays at LG Electronics USA. “The 136-inch AIO has user controls similar to conventional flat screen TVs and is easy to set up and use.”
This monitor is different from other DVLED monitors on the market as it has been specifically designed to be as easy to install as possible without the need for any separate components, tools or wiring. First, it comes in a professional aluminum carrying case with wheels, making it quick and easy to transport and move around the site. The monitor comes partially with two prefabricated cabinets that snap together using the included hardware and can be wall-mounted with the included hardware or mounted on an optional mobile cart for multi-room use.
Two mounting cabinets provide a rear structure for the displays, while 72 laptop-sized modules attach to the cases to form a one-piece 136-inch screen. LG has developed cableless LED modules that actually snap into place with a magnetic tool, making the process virtually reliable for integrators and much faster than installing other DVLED display options. Because the LED modules are mounted to the front of the cabinet, long-term maintenance and service is also greatly simplified, as individual modules can be quickly removed and replaced without affecting the rest of the equipment. With all the modules connected, the monitor can be connected, turned on and used in no time thanks to the built-in webOS controller, the familiar portable remote control and two built-in 9W speakers.
“Regardless of location or situation, the 136-inch DVLED all-in-one display provides a complete solution for virtually any need while providing ease of installation and familiar operation,” said Smith.
